July was really busy…I didn’t take a ton of practically professional photos…most everything was on my phone. Quick & easy.
Here are before & after pictures of the dollhouse/bookcase I received from a friend for B&E’s room.
My friend the farmer (& amazing 8th grade GEMS Counselor) & I attended the GEMS Leadership Conference in Vancouver, B.C. It was wonderful! One of the best I have ever attended. Inside this building however, was not the best for taking pictures with one’s iPhone.
View from our room:
It was a very different conference in many ways because it was on a large public university campus which was pretty much in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Generally at a conference, the GEMS Counselors are about the only people walking around on a small, closed, Christian campus. Not so this year! It was just like being in a multi-cultural city, which was a little hard for some! But that isn’t a bad thing…in fact, it’s maybe even good – gave us some perspective on what it’s like to live outside of our wonderful, yet sheltered and uniform communities.
Elise lost several teeth!
Me & my girl enjoyed some Menchies together!
Becca was published in the Member Issue of Clubhouse Magazine!
That turquoise hammock was the garage sale deal of the summer! $5 for pure outside relaxation!
Playing dress-up with neighbor friends – or anything at all with neighbor friends – was a great pastime!
We had an incredibly dry summer with lots of sun. This shows all our excitement when it finally drizzled one evening…we are true Washingtonians!
