The first two days of cousin time

After the surprise wore off, we finished up our presents, had breakfast together (it was the cousins’ second breakfast) and then we set off to complete only the most crucial tasks of the day. Susanne came over and helped me finish the windows she was giving as gifts, and then by dinner we headed over to Mom & Dad’s for the first evening of fun, games, & cousin sleepover time!

It makes me unbelievably happy to look at all these pictures again and feel the love I have for all those faces!

Everyone came to our church Sunday morning because Bethany was signing “O Holy Night” and it was just so beautiful. Her friend Faith was one of the singers, and Bethany learned the sign language well from her youth group leader who is fluent in sign language.

My niece is rather fond of iPhones and selfies…so she ends up in front of the camera an awful lot.

Everyone came to our church again in the evening for Becca & Elise’s “program” and for our Candlelight Service. It was beautiful!

Becca had a duet and Elise was part of some creative moment.

It is perhaps unconventional to take pictures of a Candlelight Service, but seeing my family all in a row with the lit candles…I had to capture it. I know you can’t see everyone, but we are all there.
