Ed & I are trying to walk together in the evenings now that we’re getting some springish-like weather and now that it’s light later into the evenings. On school nights we put the little girls to bed between 7:30 and 8:00 and then head out on our walks while the older girls either finish homework or shower & get ready for bed. On non-school nights we typically go once the little girls are ready for bed and are reading or watching a movie. We don’t walk super-fast, but we aren’t out for a stroll either. It’s good exercise, a good chance to chat in the quiet, and a good opportunity for the girls to learn some more independence.
Looking southeast from the road we walk that is west of our house and runs along the river.
Looking southwest from the same road.
Looking east towards the foothills.
I have to say, as much as we want to live in Lynden someday, one thing we will miss is this space around us.

Home on the range...
What a blessing to be able to to take in such beautiful scenery when going on walks with the person you love most.
