We had a pretty low-key day on the 27th…slept in, recovered from illnesses, and then decided to go roller skating! It was great fun! It took a while for my oldest nephew to get the hang of it and my youngest nephew didn’t want to give it a try at all, but he liked watching the girls and they all of course had fun skating with their uncle and each other and the many other kids from school we saw there!

would you believe that after more than 12 years in Lynden (including living IN the house behind the windmill - meaning i was on that alley!) i NEVER set foot in the roller skating rink?! i couldn't even tell you where the entrance is located!
