I can’t believe it’s been almost a month since I blogged! Ah well, that’s what happens to a mom of 4 who works part-time…
After the state XC meet, we kidnapped Sarah from the team and headed to Embassy Suites. We decided we needed a little family bonding time (especially since we had a 5-day weekend) and some time to get re-acquainted with that runner of ours. We had snacks, played games, and watched HGTV together in the evening and got to swim in the morning before breakfast. Once it was time to check out of the hotel we decided to take the family to the Pacific Science Center for the day. Apparently we hadn’t been there since Sarah was 2, and she remembered quite a lot…and she has grown an awful lot, too! We had a lot of fun reminiscing and making new memories, too.
This picture cracks me up…you can see Bethany taking a picture of her, Elise & Becca, and their reflection in the mirror, plus the reflection of Sarah taking their picture and the reflection of Ed & I trying to figure out where to go next! Classic.
