Friday was another great day. We headed off to Marine Park in the morning for some tide pooling and a picnic lunch. We were minus Ed & Elise since she was still sick, but we had loads of fun! When we came home from tide pooling we finished straightening up and then hosted a party for my grandma’s 89th birthday! Two of my mom’s siblings came with their extended families, who happened to all be in town for some other family functions on their other side, so it was perfect timing. Elise was even feeling better so she & Ed joined us for most of the afternoon (although Becca also felt sick, so Ed took her home for a while as a precaution. She ended up being fine and came back in time for pictures and more fun! Unfortunately, my baby brother got sick late Friday night as well. We are good at sharing in our family.)
